Yes this is right. If we have this goal, we can do everything to achieve it and probably be successful in the future. If not, we could not say that we failed because in the first place, we are successful in setting the goal and doing what we could to achieve it. Having no goal at all could be ridiculous, meaning no goal, no dreams, no good life is waiting on the end of our roads.

... that today is Pacific Ocean Discovery Day? In 1513, Vasco
Nunez de Balboa, a Spanish explorer, became the first European
to see the Pacific Ocean from the Americas. He had crossed the
Isthmus of Panama to make the discovery and he named it Mar
del Sur (South Sea). Trivia fans: The Pacific Ocean is the
world's largest body of water. It encompasses a third of the
Earth's surface, having an area of 69.4 million square miles,
significantly larger than Earth's entire landmass, with room
for another Africa to spare!

Discovery? In 1999, Garman Harbottle and three Chinese
archaeologists announced the discovery of the world's oldest,
still-playable music instrument, a 9,000-year-old flute. The
flute, made from the wing bone of a crane, was uncovered in
Jiahu in the Yellow River Valley in Henan Province in central
China.

Antikainen threw a fresh egg 317 feet, 10 inches (more than
the length of a football field). What is more incredible is
that Jyrki Korhonen actually caught the egg without breaking
it!
